Strong, fresh ideas wake up tired grades
It doesn't matter what discipline you study, psychology, the arts, or astrophysics, if you want your essays and writing assignments to push your GPA a little farther North, you need to have your own ideas. And - they need to be showcased like a marquee sign: lit up and written in clear & simple language. I can help you do that.

Did you read that twice?
You should've.

Forget the comma. Real results happen when you unlock your ideas, shake 'em out and put 'em on display

Jenn, why doesn't the comma matter?
because a well placed comma in an empty/sucky/unnecessary sentence doesn't make a difference
In a nutshell, I help you find your own ideas and make them sound good so you stop summarizing everyone else's and give people a reason to listen to you.

That's a lot. Let's unpack it.
I help you talk back to authors and tell you what to look for when you read so you have something to say when you sit down to write. I take the guesswork/unnecessary summary/strange myths - all the things that muzzle your voice - out of your writing...and make room for you.
I've worked with 1000s of students who claimed not to be writers - and even worse essayists. The
conversations, explanations, doodles and diagrams from all the hours I spent working with students at desks and dining room tables now reside in Rubbermaid bins stacked in my closet - and feature prominently in every digital lesson, coaching session and course I offer.
Before things get too serious,
I should probably let you know...
I don't do take-out style writing.
A quick and easy essay? That's not a thing. Thinking is hard work. To do it right, you need to grab your water bottle, pull up a seat and get comfy.
Grammar bores me.
I know as much grammar as I need to write clean sentences. I only teach as much as I need to make sure you do as well.
Easy writing is an oxymoron.
Remember that word on the literary devices sheet your Grade 9 English teacher told you to memorize? Yeah, me too.
